The Shire of Druim Doineann will hold a winter festival at the Gardiner Community Hall, 980 Old Gardiner Rd, Gardiner, Wa. There will be classes as well as the evening Potluck feast. It will be an all day event (10am to 9pm) feast at 5:30pm. Come and enjoy Fun and Fellowship!
Classes planned: blackwork; calligraphy–Rotunda script (welcome beginners too!); SCA 101 + “How to Stay in Persona; marshalling-heavy and rapier; archery -intro to archery + combat archery; dance; SCA songs; cardweaving. Please contact Lady Mary, before Jan. 5 if you would like to take classes. No Pied Piper on duty, but activities for the younger set. * Dry Site: the hall requires a liquor license for any alcohol on premises. We won’t serve: please don’t bring.
Feast Fee: potluck dish to serve 8 to 10 + help with clean-up. Bring feast gear. Beverages will be provided – soup and bread available during day. Site Fees: Adult $8.00 ($3.00 discount with a current SCA card or Crier address label.) Children 12 and under $3.00, 2 and under free. Family Cap $16.00.
