Lebus VIII
Shire of Coeur du Val
August 8-10, 2008
The shire of Coeur du Val warmly invites those of the Knowne world to join us as we celebrate the success of the siege of Lebus Castle by Ludwig of Thuringia. A relaxing weekend of fun, fighting and friendly fierceness is planned. Friday night will include a newcomer’s gathering and stone soup to tide over weary and hungry travelers.
Heavy fighters will enjoy our main tournament, our mythical beastie tourney, our King John memorial tourney and a torchlight tourney. We will have a rapier tournament, as well as an archery competition. The youth of the shire will hold the field against all comers in a youth combat tourney. Their Highnesses’ court, dancing and a bardic competition will round out the weekend. Come see why people have more fun in Coeur du Val!
