‘Tis
the Year of the Dragon and the Shire of Dregate again celebrates
the Festival of Red Lanterns. Her Ladyship Dubheasa Cumbiel will be
preparing a feast for us based on foods from the court of the
Japanese Emperor at the time of the Mongols’ attempted
invasion of Japan There will be a bardic competition with a small
prize and a silent auction. Seating is limited and reservations are
strongly suggested. A pre-registration discount
will be in effect until January 21. Reservations received after
that date and payments at the door will be at the full amount. Site
opens at 5:00 pm, feast begins at 6:00 pm, site closes no later
than 12 pm. Site is descreet.
