The Shire of Lionsdale welcomes all to come and spend time in
the glen of Albion.
The time has come for our Grand Champions to retire into the
peace that they deserve after defending our borders for the last
year, with the strength of arms, sharpness of blade, and aim of
arrows. We thank them for their service. With that, we are
in dire need of new Champions to keep our borders safe, defend the
men and women of our fine shire, and wage war upon all those who
wish us ill.
On June 20, 2015, for one day only, we invite all those who wish to
vie for the championship of Lionsdale to show us their skill with
armour, rapier or arrow. Merchants are very welcome (no fee),
as are those who wish to come and enjoy the grand company of those
who do the peaceful and gentle arts. We welcome all to come
and enjoy the day. There will be games all day for those who
are not in armour to enjoy.
