Event announcement:

Hail and well met, citizens of An Tir and the Knowne World!

All are invited by Their Excellencies Stromgard to attend our annual event, A Game of Thrones and Stormgods, July 26-28 2019 in Woodland, WA at the Zumstein Family Farm. Revels, contests of weapon and wit will be found aplenty!

REMINDER: This is a primitive site, there is NO WATER on site. There is a full service Safeway grocery store 15 minutes from the site. Also all garbage must be carried off site, there is no garbage collection.

Friday night will feature a torchlight social with food and games beside the list field.

Rattan, rapier, and equestrian champions for the Barony of Stromgard, the StormGod, the StormBlade, and the Stormrider will be chosen on Saturday.

Individuals wishing to serve as StormGod, StormBlade, or Stormrider are expected to present themselves to Their Excellencies at morning court on Saturday and make known their intent to enter the list. The tournaments will follow the traditional forms rattan and rapier contests will be both on the list field and in melee in the woods, be prepared for one of the rounds to be held at the barrier this year.

The Game of Thrones (woods battle) winner will be decided as in past years by control and time of possession of a fixed point in the woods. Teams entering the woods battle should bring a prize for the prize chest.

On Saturday there will also be contests of archery and thrown weapons.

Saturday night will once again feature revels and the “Race for the Hoard,” this year featuring a puzzle to be solved. Individuals or teams entering the Race for the Hoard should bring prizes with them to submit for the Hoard, awarded to the winners of the race.


Merchant Fee: Item donated to Barony for largess or prizes.

Please note: There is not a dumpster or garbage receptacle on site. Individuals and individual camps are responsible for hauling and removing their garbage.
