Their Excellencies Three Mountains invite you to join us in honoring Companion Selene Trioros. We will also hold a competition to find our next Arts & Sciences Champion. The day will be filled with games, both indoors and outside [weather permitting], merriment and delicious cuisine.
The decor will reflect the Byzantine period chosen by Selene. Help us decorate the hall with floor pillows and small rugs. Folding seats may be brought for use instead of the metal chairs on site. In keeping with the ambience of 13th century Constantinople, there will be no dining tables. Meals will be served buffet style. Bring your drinking vessel and favorite beverages [beer and wine are allowed]. Plates and eating utensils will be available.
A & S competitors must submit three entries: one entry is to be Byzantine related, the second must be a new creation crafted for this competition in a style of the artist’s choice, and the third may be an existing piece that has not been entered in an A & S competition before. Entries will be judged on design, aesthetics, quality and functionality of the piece, with double points awarded for documentation.
