All the students need to bring is a pair of scissors or snips.  The wool and thread for the buttons will be provided.  The class is limited to 10 people.

Combined Arms vs Mono-Forces – An examination of SCA Warfare and tactics examined through the historical lens of the Battle of Hastings.

How to Teach Dance – Do you enjoy dance in the SCA, would you be interested in learning about teaching others a dance or multiple dances?  Let’s break down the basic steps and how a dance is called, learn about the published resources which provide us period dance steps and music.  We will go over a couple of the dances which will be taught and danced in Renaissance Dance which will follow this course.  This approachable class will further provide an opportunity for those who have a strong interest to consider a mentoring plan.

Renaissance Dance – Come learn 3 types of Renaissance Dances, the French Bransle, the Measures (and Alman’s) from the Inns at Court, and the English Country Dances of Playford.  Each dance will be taught and then danced to the music.
