	The Barony of Madrone would like to invite you to join us as we welcome our hard working SCA Board of Directors at an informal social gathering after the Saturday, October 15^th meeting.
	The meeting will be held at the Embassy Suites in SeaTac, followed immediately by the Social at the lovely Des Moines Field House, about 6 miles away.

	The Meeting: Embassy Suites – SeaTac Airport 15920 West Valley Highway Seattle, WA 98188

	Specific details regarding time and room number to follow.
	Please wear MODERN clothing — This is a great opportunity to see the nuts and bolts of how the modern organization works and keeps us solvent.
	The Social: Des Moines Field House 1000 South 220th Street Des Moines, WA
	Schedule:
	5:00 PM — Doors open for Setup — folks are welcome to arrive any time after then
	10:00 PM — Must be off the Site

	Dress:
	MODERN clothes

	Site Fee:
	There is no site fee for this informal event.
	But there will be a donation jar at the door to help defray costs, including the food.

	Madrone Culinary Guild is coordinating a light but yummy dinner
	The site is dry, so no alcoholic beverages, please

	w There will not be a full kitchen onsite, so much of the food will be made in advance, and some will be made offsite on that day.
	w The food will be period dishes from some of the Guild’s favorite recipes of different periods.
	w If you’ve tried the Guild’s food before, either at a feast or from the pamphlets, you know how delicious that can be.
