Welcome to skirls and twirls amid our haunting hall.  Tis Leap Year and the advantage goes to the laddies.  Ladies start your engines, time to sweet talk those gents out of their flowers.  There will be a special moment of Justice. Our Seneschal shall woo us this song.  Plus the man with the golden tongue and the hangmans noose will lift our spirits and quench our lust for a little Viking blood.  We will have rapier and boffer/whalebone fighting.

 

A song or poem for your supper.  Please bring a potluck dish to feed ten.  Mundane name starting with A-H side dishes, I-P desserts, breads, Q-Z salads /fruit, cheeses, please include ingredients.  Canton will supply meat.

 

We’ll have a Filking class, bone carving class, jewlery making class.  If you are willing to teach a class contact autocrat.  Cooking contest for Scottish dishes.  Smalls sheep making contest.

Site is Lyons Park in College Place.  Park Grounds (only) discreetly wet.  Site opens 10am and closes at 9pm. Site fee will be $8.00 for adults ($3.00 surcharge for non members) $4.00 for ages 12 to 5, Under 5 free, family cap $30.00.  Make checks payable to SCA, Inc. Canton of Akornebir.

 

Directions: From the south-Hwy 125: turn left on college Ave. turn right on 8th-follow into Lyons Park. From the east-Hwy 12: turn left on Gose RD. follow into College Place were the road becomes College Ave. Turn left on 8th proceed directly into Lyons Park. From the west-turn right on Gose Rd and proceed as above.
