Greetings my
Lords and Ladies.  The Branch of Danescombe invite all to
attend our forthcoming Academy, a weekend of sharing our knowledge
and skills of the Middle Ages, on August 9^th through
11^th (site access August 9^th at 4PM) at the
Rock Creek Rodeo Fair Grounds located in the southern interior of
British Columbia. 

The Academy
will offer a full range of classes in Armored, Rapier, and the Arts
& Sciences drawing instructors from throughout both the
Principality of Tir Righ and the Kingdom of An Tir.  The
foundation piece of our Arts & Sciences will be a Scribal
Retreat with a full day and a half of classes for all levels of
interest and experience.  A Free Youth (8 – 17) Program
of classes & other activities will be offered throughout the
day on Saturday.  

There will be
a tournament to determine our Branch’s Archery
Championship.  We will also be holding our Branch Bardic
Championship on the Saturday evening.

Directions/Location: 
Rock Creek, BC is a small community in the Boundary Country of the
Southern Interior of British Columbia, Canada.  Located at the
junction of BC Hwy 33 and BC Hwy 3 (Crowsnest Hwy) less than one
hour east of Osoyoos, BC.  The site is just a few km east of
the town centre.
