Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Let all people of An Tir, and
of all the known kingdoms, who are not banished or enemies of the
king our lord, know that there will be a great festival of arms and
a very noble tourney, both mounted and on foot, with archers,
crests, banners and horses covered with the arms of the noble
tourneyers, as is the ancient custom, hosted by the very noble and
very powerful Barony of Madrone.
On SATURDAY, there will be
three tournaments: Equestrian, Armored Combat on Foot, and
Archery. There are other less formal activities on
Sunday.
For more information and
equestrian registration visit: Emprise.equestrianguild.org
Please be aware of the
following:
- This is a working equestrian
facility. Horses are not restricted to a specific area.
However, there will be “horse-free” zones. - Everyone will be expected to
sign an equestrian waiver. - This is NOT a camping
event. A list of motels is on the website. - Modern and medieval popup
shades without stakes are welcome on the track
side. - Everyone is encouraged to
bring a banner, banner pole, and portable hole to add to the
pagentry. -
Polite pets are welcome on a
leash or lead. Please pick up after your pets. We’ll do our best
with the horses.
Food
- There is a Dante’s Inferno
Dogs cart will be on site Saturday for lunch and
there is food available in the evening provided by the
Madrone Culinary Guild for a donation. There are some drinks
and snacks in the Reber store and restaurants and grocery stores
within a short driving distance.
