The Feast of St. Odo
November 28, 2009
Hood River & Wasco Counties,
Oregon
Spend a late harvest day and early evening with the newly
Incipient Canton of Hauksgarðr while we celebrate the
season of the feast of Saint Odo in the heart of the Gorge of
the Great AnTir River. Come and share story and song for
young and old. There will be an all day games tournament
celebrating the “war strategies of drinking games.” For what
better way to celebrate a successful harvest then with
discrete libations. The overall winners in the children’s and
adult’s categories will be our victors for the day and our
strategic warriors!
At our potluck feast be prepared to share your story, song or
short poem, or even your version of an old SCA favorite, “No
fooling, there I was….” (this is a feast for all ages!) If
there are limited entries, be prepared to introduce your
personna in true Hauksgarðr “tradition.”
