FESTIVAL OF RED LANTERNS
Shire
of Dregate
February 28th
2009
Okanogan County, WA.
In the Month of the White Moon, cold is the temperature
outside. Deep is the snow. Chill is the wind. Yet the Sound
of Laughter rolls from the encampments of Dregate. The smell
of fine foods and good drink pierce the winter air. The red
glow of the lanterns radiate across the lands beckoning all
travelers into the warmth of the great ger where we celebrate
the end of the Chinese New Year.
Join the Shire of Dregate at winter’s end as we
celebrate the Year of the Ox, beginning with the
Dragon’s Dance! Bardic competition will be held during
the finest feasting in the known world.
Pre-register to help our cooks
and your pocketbook!
