Please join the shire of Wyewood for our first celebration of medieval sports and games, for young and old! Games will include stool ball, kubb, bocce, scavenger hunts, footraces, bushkazi, and much more! Participation and success in event activities will earn Champions’ Points for your branch, and the winning branch will take home a Champions’ Banner to demonstrate their courage and honor. Individuals will earn points for participating and winning events as well, to earn individual prizes. In the cool of the evening, we will enjoy Wyewood’s famous Chocolate Social dessert potluck as we toast the winners of the day! Come to play, or come to watch — either way, we’d love to see you.
Site lnfo: Briscoe Park, 6000 S 190th St, Kent WA 98032. The event opens at 10:00am on August 2, and closes at 8:00pm that day. The site fee will be $7 ($3 non-member surcharge). Make checks payable to “Shire of Wyewood (SCA).” There is no water on site, so please bring water!
