There will also be a feast! – Join us for a “Ploughman’s Picnic Lunch!” Details below.

Baronial Candidates: This event will feature a “Meet & Greet” with the new candidates for Coronets of Wealdsmere! Come on out and meet the candidates and hear of their vision for the future of Wealdsmere!

Enjoy all the pageantry of a baronial court!

Arts & Sciences Display at Newcomers:

We will have an A&S display table at Newcomers. The idea is to show off some of the various things we do. If you would like to bring an example of your work to show off we would love to display it!

Please include a sign with your item saying what it is and what your name is. If you would like to include contact info that is up to you. If you would like to include documentation that would be awesome but is not required. Books or reference materials that go with the subject are also nice to display.

We will have tables and tablecloths available in the main hall.
Items will be on display all day and there will be someone monitoring the area at all times.

This event is totally FREE and is a great way to meet the people of our Barony in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

Just a few quick things to keep in mind:
1. The upper parking lot is small and we would like to keep it mostly for those who need ADA parking. There is a secondary lot a short walk away so if at all possible please unload and then move your car to that lot. Thank you. Remember to lock up and stow enticing things out of sight.
2. There is potable water on-site, but the temps are looking to be in the mid 90’s so bring lots of bottled water to stay hydrated.
3. The park has sprinklers so we are discouraging large stakes in the ground. Please bring a pop-up dayshade if you want a shady spot to hang out. There are shade trees.
4. Bring your own chairs.
5. Bring your own plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, etc for the feast. We will have some loaner stuff if you forget.
6. Please keep your pets on a leash – and keep hold of that leash. No free roaming pets please. And please pick up after them and deposit it in the trash cans. There are popular hiking trails through this park so other peoples dogs may be loose. Keep an eye out for them.
And lastly – there is no event fee it’s true, but please check in at the gate and sign our required non-member waivers. They are mandatory and we truly appreciate your cooperation.
