  • 10:00 a.m. Gate opens
  • 11:00 a.m. Opening Court
  • 11:30 a.m. (or after court) Armor inspection – Heavies
  • 11:30 a.m. TOURNAMENT: A&S Championship opens
  • 11:30 a.m. CLASS: “An Overview of SCA Arts and
    Sciences.”
  • 12:00 p.m. TOURNAMENT:
    Heavy
  • 12:00 p.m. CLASS: “Names, devices, badges and what
    they mean.”
  • 1:00 p.m.   CLASS: “Camping and the SCA with
    children.”
  • 1:00 p.m.   Armor inspection – Youth Combat
  • 1:30 p.m.   CLASS: “Who’s Who in the SCA and How
    Can I Tell the Difference?”
  • 1:30 p.m.  TOURNAMENT: YAC
  • 2:00 p.m.   CLASS: “SCA Camping
    Etiquette.”
  • 2:00 p.m.   Armor inspection – Rapier.
  • 2:30 p.m.   CLASS: “SCA Archery.”
  • 2:30 p.m.   TOURNAMENT: Rapier
  • 3:00 p.m.   CLASS: “Easy and simple garb for
    beginners.”
  • 3:30 p.m.   CLASS: “Period Games.”
  • 3:30 p.m.   Rapier Tavern Brawl
  • 4:00 p.m.   TOURNAMENT: A&S Championships
    -judging closes.
  • 5:00 p.m.   Open Swim
  • 6:00 p.m.   Potluck dinner.  The Canton will be
    providing some soups – please bring something to share!
  • 7:00 p.m.   Evening Court
  • 8:00 p.m.   Open Bardic Circle

After dark – 6 a.m.: Curfew for children,
aged 12 and under.  Children must remain in
their family’s encampment OR be in the company of their parents
(trips to biffy excluded).  The site is near a river and
highway and is too dangerous for children to be wandering around
unattended after dark.  Quiet Hours after 11pm.

Open Swim at the Waitsburg
Pool – We’ve contracted to have the Waitsburg
City Pool stay open an extra hour just for us.  This is a
public pool, there are cold-water showers available to use during
this time.  Please bring your swimsuit if you want to
swim!

  • 8:00 a.m. Wake-up call
  • 8:00 a.m. Breakfast Bits and Coffee available.
  • 9:00 a.m. TOURNAMENT: Archery.  Adult and Youth.
  • 11:00 a.m. Closing Court
  • 12:00 p.m. Site closes.

 

 

Event Fee: $10 per adult.  There is a $5 discount for
current SCA members.  Children aged 17 or younger are
free.  Please make checks payable to “Canton of Akornebir, SCA
Inc.”
