The year is 1530, and you are cordially invited to the wedding of Katharina, a Duchess from Saxony, and Johann, a Margraf of Kulmbach-Ansbach. The wedding feast will have a variety of roast meats, delectable sweets, and surprising subtleties.

Although Katharina and Johann are fictional characters in our story, the wedding banquet will follow along the lines of wedding feasts from the period. The feast will adapt its menu from descriptions of wedding feasts and use recipes from period cookbooks.

The tentative schedule is a potluck on Friday night, classes and the feast on Saturday, and clean-up/closing on Sunday. Dancing and Games will follow the feast. The final schedule will be posted as the event gets closer.

Get your reservations in as soon as possible as seating is limited and the feast is expected to sell out. Due to the nature of this event and the limited space available, only prepaid tickets are available. There will be no tickets sold at the door. There is also the need for volunteers to work at the feast, if you are interested, please contact the autocrat, Master Finn Grim (Finn.Grim.SCA@Gmail.com), to discuss your particular interests and which spots are available.
