Ravens War 2004 The Great Fungus War
Come join the fight at the Ravens Key Castle Site. We seek to defend our fungus patch from the evil Cragmerian Horde. War points will be awarded for Heavy, Archery, Rapier, Arts & Science and Bardic Presentation. There will also be childrenâ??s games. Sunday there will be pointless Norse games,(no war points given), and a Pointless Royal Round of Archery Site opens at 2 pm on Friday but feel free to come early. Site closes Sunday afternoon sometime.
There will be a potluck supper on Saturday followed by potluck desserts at the Bardic Circle. There will also be a Tavern.
Mercenaries Wanted-Please contact MoS, Lord Reynolds of Ravens Key at jstasiuk@shaw.ca for more info. Fighters needing authorization should also contact the MoS as listed above. There will be an armouring area available Friday night if you need a minor repair before the battle begins.
The contests include a Bush Battle for the Enchanted Fungus, A Resurrection Battle at the Castle, A Maiden Rescue, Rapier Contests, Two Target Archery contests, A&S contests including Best use of Heraldry to cover a mundane item, Best Raven in any medium, Best Mushroom in any medium, Best prepared mushroom dish,Adult and Smalls Bardic contests of Best presentation including a Fungus or Raven

Site Fees are as follows
Adult-weekend $10.00 Adult-daytrip $10.00
Youth aged 7 to 15 years $5.00 Children under 7 years are free
Family weekend fee is $25.00
Merchanting fee is a donation to the Raven’s Hoard prize chest.
Site has water available and outhouses.
