Samhain Event
pm
Pioneer Hall in Lake Creek,
Oregon
Event celebrating the glorious coming of the Fall in our
magnificent Southern
Shire. The day will be filled with amazing feats of
skill and chivalry, fierce fighting for prizes worth
coveting, arts and crafts displays, educational classes, and
fabulous feasting, all the while being regaled with tales of
glorious battles won and enemies vanquished.
(Apparently you will fight till you’re dead, then fight some
more!) Prizes, prizes, prizes…
Bring a hoop if you have one, colored or black thread,
needles. There will be demonstrations and instruction
and some supplies for practice.
new rules that all members should be aware of and we will be
having an instructional talk that everyone is invited to
attend.
something that you would like to share with others?
Bring it with a description card so that it can be displayed
and enjoyed by others.
Faires of Olde, when the populace gathered to trade and
barter and sell! Bring your no-longer wanted or needed
items for swap/sale. Bring your handicrafts for oohs
and ahhs and, perhaps some pocket change. Bring that
tunic that got, well, a “tad snug” or those children’s
“period boots” that now cramp those little
feet. We’d like to make this an annual event
(we’re thinking of calling it “Ye Baye”) when we can clean
out or fill up our closets according to our needs and wonts.
We are especially requesting items for smalls but
we will be happy for everyone to participate, and the more
people and items involved, the more successful and better it
will be for everyone. If you needed or wanted it at
some point, chances are someone else did too. Bring it
all down and see what happens!
