Summits June Investiture June 16 -18, 2006 Shire of Dun an
Chalaidh Rose Lodge, Otis OR The fields are ready for a new
defender of the Summits to rise. The Gryphon Thrones are
about to be empty. The Coronets of the Summits lie ripe to be
lowered on new heads. It is time for the Tanist and Tanista
to step up as Prince Beringar and Princess Mathilda
gracefully step down. The Shire of Dun an Chalaidh welcomes
all of the Summits to swear loyalty to our new Prince and
Princess. There will be a Never won a Tourney Tourney and
A&S exhibits as well as a chance to see a few horses.
Camping near Eric space will be reserved for Period style
camping. Site is discreetly wet and smoking allowed only in
marked areas. Fires are dependant on Fire conditions at the
time. All fire debris needs to be dumped at a special dump
site. See Autocrat for details. Pre-reg is now closed. The
schedule is as follows: Friday: Arrivals all day 8 pm Bardic
Circle Saturday: 9:00 AM Lists Open for both tourneys Armor
Inspection begins 10:00 AM Never-Won-a-Tourney Tourney 11:00
AM Invocation of the Lists with the Defender Tournament
immediately following 1:00 PM Final Court of Their
Highnesses, Beringar and Mathilde 3:00 PM Investiture of
Gryphon Heirs, Tjorkill and Sylva, immediately following
Final Court 4:00 PM First Court of Tjorkill and Sylva,
immediately following Investiture Court Meet and Greet Tea
directly following First Court (or else during a break
between courts)(Bring big fluffly pillows to sit on.) Sunday:
