Come good gentles from far and wide to the snowy lands of the Shire of Southmarch and stand as witnesses. At this momentous event you will be present at Tanist Kenric and Tanista Dagmar are elevated to the mighty thrones of the Summits.
 
A glorious tournament is to be held to vie for the honor of Captain of Cats, Rapier Champion of the Summits.

Pray heed to the words of the Captain of Cats regarding the champion tournament, to be held at 11th Night in the Shire of Southmarch: Letters of intent to participate should be emailed by midnight on December 7th to Their Alpine Highnesses and cc’d to Master Piaras using piaras2013 (at) gmail dot com. As a reminder, to enter the Captain of Cats Tournament, you must be a member of the Society in good standing. Winning the tournament will come with both prestige and a responsibility to serve the Princess, the Principality, and our community to your utmost ability. This year, as I have done in the past, I am heavily encouraging pageantry. This means if you have a banner, or have time to make one, please bring it! If you have a consort you wish to process with, please do so. We will be doing an actual procession for the induction of the lists. The format of the tournament will be a QRC-style single round robin where you will pick your pairings. We will likely have 2 list fields if space allows and number of entrants warrants it. If there are 10 or more entrants, we will go to a 4-fighter single elimination tournament/semi-final where each pairing will be best 2 out of 3. If there are less than 10, we will immediately go to the finals. The finals will be fought best 2 out of 3, bring your best. I look forward to passing on the cloak to a worthy and noble successor!
