Royal Scribe

The Royal Scribe is responsible for the award documents of the reign. They oversee award charter production (design, wordsmithing, calligraphy, artwork, printing, distribution, painting, and personalization), commissions custom scrolls and/or objects given as awards, sees that awards are signed and sealed as needed, and works closely with the Court Coordinator to deliver all these in a timely manner.

Additional Information: I want people to have the best possible experience. I love animals, organization, and oxford commas. I am very detail oriented. I work full time in an office for a non-profit supporting adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. I have two adult kids, two aging parents, two senior cats, and a ridiculous quantity of dried dandelion stems hanging in my dining room. I dislike: Calling modern things “mundane” (it can be perceived as judgemental and snobby) / Calling the SCA a game (I prefer community) / Calling Coronets and Crowns “pointy hats” (lacks the respect earned and deserved) / Cigarette smoke / Exposed Coke/pop/gatorade cans/bottles laying around at events / Kitchy or tacky stuff / Acrylic yarn / unclear communication
